  • Yes, the 2 blue dots you are talking about is normal for the Prodigy P2 # 90885 and it will take about 15 minutes for those to go off. When you first put power to this brake controller it displays a "n.c." code which means that it doesn't sense a trailer connected. After 15 seconds the "n.c." code changes to " . ." like you mentioned. This stays on until there is no motion or activity in your pickup for at least 15 minutes.   • I have not personally heard of such a thing but I can imagine it being an area of concern. The Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX measures 5-1/4" total forward from the mounting flange. With that information you should able to determine if your tailgate will open or not. I have attached a picture for you to check out with this measurement along with a couple others.
